Mac OS AppleScript Automation
Simple AppleScript can be used which allows for automated import of shipments and export of tracking information. NRG has a script that will invoke the Import .TXT File With Ship Data and Automation – Export .TXT File With Ship Response scripts to allow for seamless integration. Alternate XML imports are also available which provides access to import/export of all ship data fields.
Mac OS URL Automation
NRG has a URL helper that allows for seamless automation from web pages or other external applications with no need to import/export data. A simple URL link will create a new shipment record in the Toolkit. URL parameters match the XML element names.
Post Shipment URL Handler
Upon successful shipment, NRGShip can invoke a user-defined URL. In addition, it will pass the Ship_ID, User_ID, User_Field01-User_Field19, Status and response fields via GET parameters so that the data can be utilized to update ship data in other systems.
XML Schema
NRG has a simplified XML schema (ship request and ship response) for import/export.
