Additional FedEx Shipping Options
Just follow the guidelines below to review all of the additional shipping options with FedEx.
GENERAL PREFERENCES
- Saturday Services - Options for saturday delivery or pickup.
- Delivery Signature Options - Choices include Delivery without Signature, Indirect, Direct, and Adult.
- Hold at FedEx Location - This allows you to select a FedEx location to have your delivery sent to and held for the recipient. Use the location finder to get accurate addresses.
- Non-Standard Container(Ground) - This must be checked if your package dimensions meet the criteria outlined on this screen.
COLLECT ON DELIVERY - C.O.D.
Rely on FedEx to collect payment for your shipment at the time of delivery.
HOME DELIVERY
- FedEx Date Certain Home Delivery - Use this option if your recipient wants to specify a certain date of delivery. This can be Tuesday through Saturday, excluding holidays. This date cannot be before the standard transit time and must be no later than two weeks after the standard transit time.
- FedEx Evening Home Delivery - This is a great option if delivery must be made in person and your recipient is not available during the day. Use it to specify delivery between 5 and 8 p.m. on the scheduled day of delivery.
- FedEx Appointment Home Delivery -If your recipient needs to arrange for delivery on a specific date and by a scheduled time, this is the perfect option. We will contact the recipient by phone in advance to schedule the delivery.
RETURN LABELS
You can create an print a return label and then include it either in the original shipment to your customer or in a separate correspondence. Your customer can then apply this label to the package as needed and drop it off at the nearest FedEx drop-off location. No charges are assessed until the label is used. In addition, a Return Material Authorization (RMA) reference field, printed on the label is available to help you track the status of your return shipments.

For Express Freight Services, the following options are provided.
ALCOHOL & DRYICE
NRG supports shipping Alcohol and Dry Ice
HAZ MAT
Dangerous Goods/Hazardous Material require special packaging, marking, labeling, and documentation. These shipments must comply with government regulations and FedEx Policies.
More than 3000 commonly shipped materials, such as aerosol cans or flammable paint, are regulated as "dangerous." Penalties could result in substantial fines or imprisonment.
