  2. Files must be in single user mode

UPGRADING FROM 1.0 VERSIONS

Importing Preferences
While you could always just re-set your prefs in the new files, importing preferences allows you to not have to re-register your UPS account and licensing information into NRGship. This is especially worthwhile if you are already registered with UPS to receive your negotiated rates within NRGship.

Note: NRGship 2.0 offers UPS Address Validation. To use this feature you will have to re-register. For fully integrated solutions, this will not be critical. But if your users use the NRGship interface and would like to use the address validation service, it is worthwhile.

  1. Locate the NRG_Package_UPSEd_Prefs.fp7 file from your previous version
  2. Copy the file from 1.1 or 1.2 NRG directory into the new 2.0 directory
  3. Open the new NRGship files and go to the Developer/Maintenance tab in Preferences
  4. Select the appropriate "Prefs" Import button based on what version you are upgrading from.

The preferences update should now be complete.
