FileMaker File
NRGship USPS for FileMaker consists of one database file:
- NRGship Toolkit for Endicia Label Server.fp7 (For FileMaker 10 and 11 users)
or
- NRGship Toolkit for Endicia Label Server.fmp12 (For FileMaker 12 or greater)
Testing
Note that Endicia does make test servers available for development purposes. Set the value of Server.t in requests to "DEV".
In addition, some requests allow the submission of test requests. If the field Test.t is present, set the value to "Yes" to submit a test transaction.
Multi-User
In the Scripts menu you will find FileMaker scripts which will enable/disable multi-user mode. You must run these scripts while in single-user mode before placing on the FileMaker Server.
Set Multi-User [On] - Sets multi-user mode to on.
Set Multi-User [On (Hidden)] - Sets multi-user mode to on with hidden attribute.
Set Multi-User [Off] - Sets multi-user mode to off.
Database Passwords
Because this is a certified solution, some areas of the database are inaccessible for customer modification. Guest access is disabled, developer access is provided with a username of "dev" and a password of "dev". Developers are provided with privledges to add and edit any necessary scripts and the ability to modify layouts. We discourage major modifications as they will need to be re-created during any database updates.
By default, the database is opened with a username of "enduser" and a password of "enduser".
In order to open the database with an alternate user/password, hold down the Option key on Mac or Shift key on Windows while opening.
