Deployment Options

Option 1: Stand-Alone deployment - The NRG files need not be opened in Filemaker while your solution is run. The internal NRG scripting will take care of that when needed.

Option 2: Peer-to-Peer deployment - If you are on the “Host” computer, then the NRG files need not be opened in Filemaker while your solution is run. The internal NRG scripting will take care of that when needed. If you are on the “Client” computer, then the NRG files must be open on the “Host”.

Option 3: Server-Client deployment - All NRG files must be launched on the server.

Note that NRGship supports external authentication via the NRG group name. If your files are hosted via FileMaker Server, create a new group for NRG and places appropriate users into the group. In NRGship preferences, you can also disable the default account so that auto-login does not occur. Please consult the FileMaker Server documentation for further assistance.
